AVR produces potato harvesters for customers all over the world. AVR’s core business is quite capital-intensive and puts a burden on available working capital. Thanks to the integration with SAP, AVR manages and maintains the data centrally. The procurement department is happy: finding the correct and complete set of drawings that go with an order is no longer a time-consuming issue. In busy days, the gain of time amounts to 2 man-days per week. In order to exclude discussions, the drawing sets per order are stored accurately. The payback time of the investment was 6 months.
